Is there a difference in the 8-piece Henkel knife set at Target vs the one at Williams-Sonoma?
My sister just bought the 8-piece Henkel knife set at Target for $100, the one at Williams-Sonoma is like $560. Is there a difference, or is Williams-Sonoma just that overpriced?
I used to work for Target at their corporate offices. I can tell you that there is a difference. Target tries to bring in popular brands but negotiates with the companies to make the items to fit within a certain price range. As a result, a lot of these brands make "special" models that you can only find at Target. I assure you that the Henkel knives at Target are the cheapest and lowest quality Henkels you will find.
